Report: Gazprom to sell 700–800 mcm of gas to Azerbaijan in '23

BAKU, Jan 10 (PRIME) -- Azerbaijan will buy 700–800 million cubic meters (mcm) of gas under a short-term contract with Russia's Gazprom in 2023, President Ilham Aliyev told local TV channels on Tuesday.

The official said that the country earlier signed a deal for 1 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas with Gazprom and received 200–300 million cubic meters from Gazprom in 2022.

"Azerbaijan plans gas exports at 24 bcm in 2023, while we will receive the remaining volume from Gazprom (700–800 mcm)," the official said.
